None (cn None) A view of the new $69 million air traffic control tower, Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility, and entrance gate at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, built to replace the old tower, built in 1988. The project began on 17 October 2011 and was completed in Fall 2014. The 324 foot tower features 8 controller stations in its 867 square foot cab. The TRACON facility, which boasts 55,592 square feet of space, features 22 controller work stations.
