N254UP (cn 48406) After the storm... A brief but powerful thunderstorm has just passed the field causing steam to rise out of the Rocky River valley behind these two UPS MD-11's. Resting up for a busy night of flying, UPS MD-11's are a relatively new sight at Hopkins, but it's quite rare to have more than one at the same time. The twin stacks visible in the distance belong to the Avon Lake powerplant.
