This is the first airport directional sign I've ever seen that doesn't either display the standard 747 or Cessna-like high wing profile. I suppose since most of the service at this airport is by rear-mounted twin-engined regional jets or Boeing 717s, this unique sign is quite appropriate. | |||

Note that if anyone was trying to catch a flight that evening, they had better have been through the security line already - because this airport's security checkpoint closes at 7:15 PM sharp. The airport's website departure page states, "We want to make sure you make it to your flight on time without any hassles along the way. Please keep in mind that security screening closes everyday at 7:15 p.m. regardless of delayed departures." | |||

| None (cn None) The Frederick J. Krum Aviation Park consists of the Wright Flyer replica (port wing visible at left) enclosed by two dedication walls and a plaza of dedicated paving bricks. I've been to this airport at least ten times and I never noticed this park until I was here trying to photodocument the airport. The park is located between the economy lot and the free waiting lot, in front of the USAirways Express hangar. | |||

| N424FJ (cn 3185) I was only trying to document the Dornier 328JET when I heard the roar of an oncoming jet taking off from Runway 1. Somehow, I managed to get both aircraft in this picture, which demonstrates the proximity of the departure end of Runway 1 to the Ultimate Air Charters ramp. The climbing Atlantic Southeast Airlines (Delta Connection) CRJ departed late for Atlanta after arriving late, all because of storms in the southeast. | |||
