| N955U (cn 49427) A double diversion...this is American Airlines flight 1066, scheduled from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) TX to Louisville (SDF/KSDF) KY. Due to high winds from the remnants of Hurricane Ike, it was to divert to Port Columbus (CMH/KCMH), but the winds were too much there as well, and it came to Hopkins instead, where AA MD-80's are a rare sight. | |||

The storm that would soon come through was what remained of Hurricane Ike, and would leave trees and powerlines down all over the area. | |||
