N5303M (cn TC-203) I believe this photo was taken at BKL in 1982 when Freedom Airlines moved its operation to Cleveland Hopkins. In back is one of Freedom's Convairs also brought in for the air show. I was surprised to see only one other entry for Freedom in the data base. Unfortunately, I have gone through all my shots, and this is the only one I could find on this airline.

The jet in the background is a
HA-200 Saeta Jet. You can see more of it here:

What's that red and white (silver?) jet in the background?

You are correct, Freedom did not operate at Burke. They were there at BKL for the Air Show only, and I sure wish I had photographed the CV580 while it was there for the show.

To my knowledge Freedom was never based at BKL, only Wright Airlines operated at both airports. But I could be wrong?

Any shots of Freedom aircraft would make some cool posts- especially at CLE. I sure wish I would have photographed the Convair when it was at BKL, or their planes at CLE for that matter. I believe some of Freedom's CV580's went to Air Ontario.

Never new Freedom flew Metros. I remember the Convairs at Hopkins, though. They took over some of the flying after United began to downsize their CLE hub.
