413884 (cn None) Last night's high winds finally took its toll on the already failing 3/4 scale P-51 model mounted outside the 100th Bomb Group restaurant on Brookpark Rd. I dare say, I think it's a write-off!

None (cn None) A view many will remember fondly of the old 100th Bomb Group restaurant on Brookpark Road. Many miss the rustic look of the original facility, and although the new restaurant is nice, I miss the old look too. 1994

413884 (cn None) They finally got them both mounted! "Flying" together for the first time today, the 100th Bomb Groups' large scale replicas look great on their stands on the west end of the property. October 25, 2007

413884 (cn None) The 100th Bomb Group restaurant on Brookpark Road has purchased these three-quarter scale replicas for display outside the restaurant and had only gotten the P-51 mounted the day before this shot. The P-47 is still being assembled and high winds the next morning spun the P-51 around on its stand and pointed its nose to the sky. It was repaired later this day. October 19, 2007

413884 (cn None) Turned 180 degrees and pointed skyward, this replica P-51 was mounted on this stand just the day before only to be blown into this position by high winds. It was turned around and remounted later this day. October 19, 2007

413884 (cn None) The 100th Bomb Group restaurant on Brookpark Rd. is finally getting another P-51 replica to replace the one that was removed when the restaurant was forced to move due to Hopkins airport expansion. This one just arrived and lies disassembled on the grass, and it's been said that it will be joined by another three-quarter scale replica, this one a P-47. Looking forward to seeing them complete!
