N475UE (cn 850) Viewed from the old observation deck back in 1994. I wish I'd have known then that it would close forever one fateful day...I would have taken a lot more pictures. |

N10242 (cn 20071) Back during the short-lived "Cal-Lite" experiment I worked many of these aircraft as a flight attendant. First class was removed, and twenty minute turns were expected on days that often involved six legs or more. "Fly for Peanuts" indeed! |

None (cn None) A view many will remember fondly of the old 100th Bomb Group restaurant on Brookpark Road. Many miss the rustic look of the original facility, and although the new restaurant is nice, I miss the old look too. 1994 |

None (cn None) Many members here will remember this pile of dirt as their favorite place to come and watch planes during the 1990's. Here we see a family catching some sun and watching the activities as they sit on the mound adjacent to the old location of the 100th Bomb Group restaurant on Brookpark Road. 1994 |

PP-VOK (cn 24843) Looking lovely on the ramp in Atlanta back in 1996, this 767 went on to wear special "500 Years of Brazil" colors until the airline sadly folded up operations. Now with LOT Polish Airlines, this bird currently wears Star Alliance colors. 1994 |

N69311 (cn 23362) I believe this was the first time I saw four of CO's planes parked next to each other all in the new colors. Of the four planes in the shot, all the 737's are still with the fleet, and even though all DC-9's have long since been retired from the fleet, this one (N10556) in the photo left it earlier than anticipated when it landed wheels-up on runway 27 at Houston on a flight from Washington DC, and had to be scrapped. Note the red "meatballs" still affixed to the jetways. 1994 |

N69901 (cn 379) A really bad shot but a rather rare one, so I present it anyway. This is one of only three ATR-72's to ever operate under the Continental banner, and is pictured taxiing for departure in Houston in 1994. |

HI-312CT (cn 19505) Sorry for the cruddy shot, but there is such an incredible mix of old and older here I just couldn't resist uploading it. The Dominicana 727 is in the company of an unmarked DC-4, a Zuliana 727-200, as well as no less than three KC-97s. An American DC-10 can be seen rolling out on runway 08, with a variety of other widebodies including an LTU L-1011 parked on the concourse in the background. 1994 |

N815AX (cn 46097) A lineup of Airborne Express DC-8's sit on the ramp in Newark. The closest aircraft, N815AX, was built for Scandinavian Airlines, and also flew with their sub-division ScanAir before cargo conversion and service with Airborne. Reported sold to Cargoplus Aviation in March 2007, this airframe is apparently still active. 1994 |

N87RM (cn 39) This is a rare photo taken at Denver Stapleton of this aircraft in the current Continental colors. I took this photo as I was about to board this aircraft on a short trip to Steamboat Springs. My incentive for the trip was not for skiing, it was only to be able to fly on a four-propellered aircraft! I enjoyed it very much, and after a two night stay, flew back to Stapleton and from there returned to Cleveland. This aircraft is still flying today as C-GLOL for Voyageur Airways. Spring 1994 |
